With your help, a NEW OUTDOOR REC CENTRE IN THE 108 will be coming soon!
We are raising funds to build a much-needed outdoor recreation facility—along with an outdoor washroom—on our community hall property.
The 108 Mile Ranch, located in central BC, has grown significantly over the past decade and is now home to approximately 3,000 residents. Yet despite this growth, our children and youth still have no dedicated, year-round outdoor sports facility. With this facility it opens up opportunities for activities like skating, hockey, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and street hockey as well as a place where seniors can stay active and social, a space for families to gather and celebrate, a venue for events, markets, and weddings, and a central gathering place that brings our entire community together.

Gazebo Opening

Gazebo Grand Opening
Thanks to the assistance from the CRD, the RCA/ORC opened our new gazebo/patio area to the public. The event was used to inform the public of what is planned for the RCA lands. We also raised $267
We were joined by the local Lions Club, serving food, and the Pickleball Association, performing demos for future players.
We completed our new horseshoe pit which was enjoyed my many. Kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and large Janga, connect four, corn hole games. It was a lovely day for all who attended.
